Nice game
Nice game
I really liked it.
Especially the graphics. They were above par for a flash game, not common at all do I see artwork of that calibur.
The game environment was nicely drawn and programmed as well. Like Ericho said, the idea was pretty original.
It can get a bit repetitive and boring at times, though it's still a neat little game.
Cute.
The items were drawn well, especially for a dress-up game. Congratulations on not drawing her in some super-generic art style like other dress-up games.
It's a nice effort. The premise is a bit repetitive, though it's good nonetheless. I'd have to agree with one of the reviews below me that said it was a bit absurd that the ally was faster than you, I prefer being able to move smoothly without all of the silly easing.
The ally helping you a lot kinda took away some of the challenge. Maybe... have the ally help with less, but still help? It'd add to the game's challenge, but it won't make the game too hard.
Good job!
Well, the game was pretty decent.
The graphics were fairly good. The painting in the title screen stood out in particular and helped make the game's overall outlook look a bit more professional. The graphics during the gameplay were also nice, specifically the backgrounds. The "cute sumo wrestlers" were everything I expected from a physics game like this, generic, but they got the job done.
The game engine on the other hand, is overused. I felt like I already played this game ten times before. Granted, I do acknowledge the effort it takes to program something like this, though the physics are even kinda off, like Mr. Killthanineteen noted below me.
Overall it's a decent game but nothing innovative, and it has its (minor) flaws.
This is pathetic.
The game engine itself has been overused countless of times, and I could've sworn that I've seen this exact same game engine at least five times before. The only thing different about this game is the slight graphic modifications.
But it's not so much the game engine that I don't like about this, but it's the fact that it had to rely on memes for popularity. Is "Roll a Troll" seriously the best idea you could come up with? If so then that's just sad.
It could use some improvement.
I'd suggest some background music. It's not a necessity, but it can spice up an originally bland Flash tutorial. The actual tutorial itself was kinda short, and there were a bunch of noteworthy issues that you could have covered in this tutorial.
For example, light sources. You could've went into more detail when you wrote, "mess around with it until you're satisfied with the results." Inconsistent light sources could be a problem with the shading. Novices who are inexperienced with shading constantly make this mistake.
It was helpful, though, to a certain extent, and there were some nifty suggestions such as using the 'Glow' filter as an assistance to shading.
Overall, a decent tutorial that needs to be a tiny bit more in-depth. Keep up the good work, I guess. 3/5
Nostalgic.
The gameplay itself was simple, but good nonetheless. This here is a classic.
