Hey everyone! So my final round of heavy chemo starts in a little over a week. I'm looking forward to this part of my life finally being over, and I'm ready to move on to bigger, better things. I can't seem to get my musical inspiration back, even after an extended break... we'll see what the future brings.

ooh yeah, that's an elegant trogon. mostly south american birds, but they live here in arizona as well. i might go birding once i feel better, try to find one of these

Ah nice, exotic! Is birding something you've been doing before? Didn't take you for a birdman. Seems cool though. A momentary calm and peace zooming in on the vivid variations nature provides... I should too. We don't have nearly as awesome birds over here though.

Never did it before. I remember in junior year there was a Field Studies class where everyone interested in birding took it, though I didn't take that elective. It didn't appeal to me that much back then, but ever since I got sick I'm a lot more interested in animals in general. Interesting what isolation does, I guess!
